In the wake HIV/AIDS epidemic in India, MSM are treated as a high-risk group but unlike other sub-groups this community is least explored and intervened.Social isolation and stigmatization bar this group from being exposed to program and intervention. The main objective of this paper is to provide comprehensive insights into the sexual orientation, behaviour and practices towards safe sex among MSM community in Mumbai.Further, it also attempts to highlight the process of getting indulged into MSM activity by different types of MSM.In order to make it more effective from the program point of view various aspects relating to risk reduction of STD/HIV among MSM like sex with different partners, type of partners and nature and pattern of condom use with specific individuals are also presented in this paper.
