Population problems of Istanbul urbanization in Turkey

Urbanization process begins with the population accumulation in the settlements. There are a lot of inputs for urbanization but demographic criteria has an important role on the urbanization. Especially, urbanization of developing countries depends on the population size. Population growth change is the main indicator for the urban development in Turkey.Therefore, we can determine the differentiation between cities in time periods also with the population rates. In Turkey, after Marshall aid in 1950 urbanization rate has been suddenly increase in the certain cities because of the migration from rural to urban areas. Until 1970's increase in the growth rate for cities was very high.People who need to work accumulated in cities between 1950-1980.This study will investigate the relationship between population flow and city life quality in Istanbul.Method of the study will be comperative analysis using population census.In conclusion changing urbanization of Istanbul will be determined in certain range time periods
