Indigenous migrant prostitutes and public health policy in Mexico City

The Mexico city experience a constant migratory flow. Every year numerous indigenous youths are abandoning their houses and migrating from the country side to this big city in search of a better work. In this insert process of the urban environment, many of these young men are experiencing all kind of discrimination and exploitation. Such, it is the case of the youths who opted to be involved in the masculine prostitution as an alternative activity. Even though this activity offers them a relative comfortable lifestyle, but most of them are ended with the pitiable condition like alcoholism, drug addicted and specially the infection of sexually transmitted diseases like HIV/AIDS, which increases even more their precarious conditions of life. Unfortunately, for the state public health policy, these people and their valuable bodies do not existed.
